Even though you destroyed them, there are factors that caused you to lose in this situation:
1. You have to destroy them first
2. If both of you were destroyed, you would lose anyways.

I was so mad! I launched a planet destroying missile at the enemy planet, and then they destroyed every building of mine before it the missile hit. But before the word "defeat" appeared, the missile did hit and the screen went white. When the picture came back, the enemy planet was gone but the word defeat was there! How can that count as a loss?! Nobody told Ender he lost when all his units were gone!

the ship limit can be changed trom the option menu after the title screen, they are:5,10,15,20,25, and 30
